Logistics is a global game, a complex and challenging puzzle of vehicles, data and cargo. Every day you do your best to be able to deliver the ordered goods to your customers safely and reliably.

Janta Logistics support this process. It means modern and environmentally friendly vehicles (estate, transporter, 7.5 to 40 t truck) as well as spacious high-bay logistics halls at 4 locations available to customers from areas such as automotive, fashion, trade and media. Warehousing also includes customer-specific high-availability logistics.


The transport industry is a multi-threaded, constantly developing area of business. The aim of work on products for Janta Logistics was to translate new ideas and technological solutions for large business clients – fashion logistics, automotive, industry, consumer goods, tire logistics and online retail. Developing holistic supply chain solutions need also holistic product’s development process – incl. management of e-commerce, contract logistics, land transport, express services, customs clearance, storage. Therefore, the systems and solutions require a broader view than on the parcel service transport for individual customers.

Smart and easy

The result of design and development work is a website with the possibility of logging in to the customer service platform. The platform is managed from an independent management panel by employees and logisticians of the Janta team. The platform is directly related to two applications:

  • LENA App – for customers
  • Freight App – for carriers


Using the platform, employees can efficiently communicate with expedition companies as well as directly with employees and drivers. They also use it to run the entire accounting layer of the company. It is possible to manage inquiries or car fleet routes, monitor shipments’ journeys and the current location of vehicles, as well as plan future routes or reloads, taking into account the vehicle occupancy depending on the volume, as well as the maximum working time of the driver (including time for breaks and stops).


The main purpose of the website design is to quickly locate the inquiry form for a specific “from – to” transport by the user. This allows the company’s team to make a quick quote and reply.
In addition, right under the main products and advantages of the forwarding company, there is a contact form for everyone who wants to contact us by phone.
The customer area includes:

  • detailed transport order form with the selection of a specific car
  • order area with status and history
  • request zone with active inquiries regarding the details of the offer (both from the customer and from the Janta company)
  • settlements block with history of invoices, details and status information

Management panel

The main functionality of the panel managed by Janta’s team is:

  • shipping panel incl. shipment order with route planning, route duration report, inquiries and vehicles / shipments map with current location of trucks and packages
  • carriers and customers list
  • finance area, where data and details are managed and invoices are generated
  • warehouse management with list of current items and their details, also product history
  • national freight prices generator which includes distance and weight of the package, details on the dimensions of parcels, shipping on non-working days and other rules governing the dispatch of parcels
  • shipping configurator related to the location in the world zone
  • shipment statuses and detailed options
  • advanced routes configurator
  • a system generating a visualization of the loading of a truck with specific dimensions of the package, enabling the optimization of journeys and supporting the loaders in arranging shipments


The application is aimed for customers.

LENA App allows customers simply put in their pockets. Customers can easily control their transports and stay in contact with Janta’s team. Thanks to LENA App: bookings, evaluations, follow-ups and communication conveniently in one mobile application – for Android and iOS are available.

Freight App

The application is aimed to carriers – commercial users or independent transport companies with their own truck or van (or with several vehicles) that would like to co-operate with Janta as sub-contractors. It serves as a unified tool for communication between Janta and subcontractors.

Freight App, after acceptance and authorization of subcontractor, allows for controlling and managing orders for shipment placed by Janta to subcontractors. Subcontractor can define a fleet of available trucks, see and respond to request for quotes for shipment services created by Janta team, get access to planned routes and report shipment advancement.

Freight app dashboard includes:

  • new orders list
  • orders in transit
  • delivered orders
  • processed orders
  • all orders list
  • new notifications related to orders
  • fleet definition panel
  • bidding processing panel
  • invoices preview
  • subcontractors’ users management

As a company owner you can also manage your drivers and trucks.

The project was build in ReactJS technology (web app) and using PHP framework Laravel (backend), Adobe System frameworks Phonegap with Cordova (mobile app). The Maria DB database was used.


Many years of cooperation for Janta Logistics as a modern, constantly developing logistics company, with four locations in Switzerland and Germany, is primarily a mutual understanding of ideas and needs.
