Background
Tikkurila is a leading paint company in the Nordic countries and Eastern Europe, originating in Finland. They offer their customers a wide range of decorative paints for surface protection and decoration.
Challenge
Tikkurila was looking for a partner that was more cost-effective than previous vendors they had worked with in application integration. It was important to find an IT partner with good knowledge of enterprise applications based on BizTalk Server, Tikkurila needed help with a smooth data exchange to all branches of the company, worldwide.

Results
The collaboration started with an integration project based on BizTalk Server to enable seamless data exchange for all the company’s branches around the world.
The collaboration resulted in Tikkurila reducing IT costs by 50 percent after working with Euvic. BizTalk-related projects are almost 30 percent faster to start up after the collaboration. The collaboration has also resulted in improved communication as Euvic has taken over the development and management of IT systems, enabling Tikkurila to reduce the number of IT suppliers. This in turn resulted in more direct communication, which increased project efficiency. The project-based collaboration was flexible and allowed Tikkurila to manoeuvre and adapt IT operations to the needs of the organisation.
